Packaging Performance Test

We have a dedicated packaging performance test facility, the Fukagawa Engineering Laboratory, where the following physical tests are available. Our testing procedure is based on international standards "ISO4180: Packaging ? Complete, filled transport packages ? General rules for the compilation of performance test schedules." Level of expected damage during shipment, how to improve packing, what to be used for packing material are major findings of those tests and we are able to advice your packing needs based on the test results.

Drop Test

With drop test, we measure amount of impact to the sample packaging (complete, filled transport packaging) and obtain primary data. The data is analyzed for us to recommend improvement on how to place contents inside the package, packing materials, stacking, etc.

Vibration/Shock Test (Vertical and Horizontal)

Vibration/Shock are measured both in horizontal and vertical dimensions. We are able to replicate vibration patterns of actual truck vibration data obtained from field test and simulate them with these testing equipment.

Compression Test

Compression Test

Sample packaging (complete, filled transport packaging) is compressed and measured its sustainability of packing. Level of compression is flexibly changeable.

Environmental Test

Environmental Test

Sample packaging (complete, filled transport packaging) is placed inside the environmental room and tested under pre-determined water wettability, temperature and humidity environment.
